FRESNO - February 16, 2008 Barnes & Noble

Barnes & Noble Fresno, Blackstone and Nees, is hosting another event for this book, on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2008, 2:00 - 4:00 PM. This promises to be huge, as Tim will be interviewed on Paul Loeffler's Radio Show, "Valley Heros" SUNDAY, February 10, 2008.

FRESNO - FEBRUARY 10, 2008

KMJ RADIO 580, INTERVIEW with Paul Loeffler Show, "Hometown Heroes," Sunday at 4:00 PM. This is huge, as KMJ has largest radio market in central California. Paul Loeffler is coordinating this date to help promote the up-coming February 16, Book Signing event at Barnes & Noble in Fresno.

ATWATER - October 21, 2007 "Castle Air Museum"

CASTLE AIR MUSEUM'S FALL OPEN HOUSE, this year in October, was a huge event. Tim was set up this time under the right wing of the static display of the B-52. Sales were great, and Castle Air Museum has placed ten books on their shelf with a display poster of the Book Cover. It was a windy, but sunny day. The director and staff were very supportive and helpful to the venders and sellers there. Tim was the only author at this event.

ATWATER - Castle Air Museum -MAY 27, 2007

OPEN COCKPIT DAY - MAY 27, 2007, 9:00 AM, Castle Air Museum, 5050 Santa Fe Drive, Atwater, CA 95301-5154. Tim will be set up at the B-17. This day was a spectacular event. Set up under the wing of the B-17, there were brisk sales. There were also many questions answered and discussions about the book. It was a long warm day, but well worth the exposure to "war bird" aviation enthusiasts.

FRESNO - AUGUST 26

AUGUST 26 - BARNES & NOBLE on Blackstone and Nees, Fresno, CA. This is a major book store in the area and promises to be the best signing ever for this year. The Community Relations manager there said later that sales were very good. He said there were sales during the week before the signing date and sales for the week after also. He said "it was a huge success."

CLOVIS - JUNE 17

BOOK BARN on 5th Street (near Polasky), Clovis, CA, Saturday, June 17, 1:00 PM. Look for article and notice in the Clovis Independant the week before.

MODESTO - JUNE 10

BARNES & NOBLE at 3501 McHenry (& Standiford) in Modesto, Saturday June 10, 1:00 PM. Look for Modesto Bee article and notice a week before.

MERCED, CA

April 22, BARNES & NOBLE, 1:00 P.M., 1720 W. Olive, Merced. It was planned that Tim will do a "pre-signing talk" about his novel FOR THOU ART WITH ME. This discussion turned out very nice, considering it was a "first time" doing that, and at a Barnes & Noble.

March 10, 11, 12, Best Western Crystal Palace Hotel, at the Sons of Confederate Veterans California Division Convention.

VISALIA, CA

March 4 - 5, Mooney Grove Park, at the Civil War Re-enactment, Visalia. Times are tentative because of the daily battle schedule there.

FRESNO, CA

March 18 - BOOK NOOK, 1st and Herndon [SW corner], Fresno, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

MADERA - February 18

This first book signing event was a very good "first" event, according to store owner Linda Cole. The event had "good press" with one article, a book review, and a community calendar notice in the Madera Tribune.

May 27, 2007	CASTLE AIR MUSEUM in Atwater. SHould be very intersting. I will be set up at the B-17, near the back door of the museum store.

August 29, 2006	The Barnes and Noble Bookstore signing in Fresno was an exciting day. I had sales, and the signings and the conversations at the "signing table" were huge. Bobbi told me that after seven months, that most of the people we know, have bought the book already. She may be right. When I checked back with the Barnes & Noble Community Relations manager in September, he said the event was a huge success; with sales in the week prior and the week after the signing date.

August 7, 2006	This is completely new as I was accepted as a member of Military Writers Society of America [MWSA]. Also the MWSA is doing two other things: 1. The book will be reviewed by MWSA. 2. For Thou Art With Me is entered into the MWSA book competion for 2007. I have not heard how long it will take to receive either of the notices on these latest two things. July 12, 2006	The book and related promotional items were submitted to Ingram Books in Tennessee. It will take three to four months to get a decision, but if it is positive, FOR THOU ART WITH ME will be on the book tables at COSTCO stores across the USA!

June 22, 2006	June had two successful signing dates: June 10, in Modesto, and June 17, in Clovis. At this time there are "For Thou Art With Me" titles available and ON THE SHELVES of the following stores: COLE'S BOOKS & BAGELS in Madera, BOOK NOOK in Fresno, BARNES & NOBLE in Merced, BARNES & NOBLE in Modesto, and THE BOOK BARN in Clovis. Sales and interest continue to grow. Pending is a submission to Ingram Book Company for distribution to COSTCO stores on the West Coast and nationwide. May 17, 2006	May has been a month of planning and organizing. May 6 was a date that an event could have been an event, but fell through.

February 24, 2006	Other events and interviews are being sought with Firebaugh-Mendota Journal, Merced Sun-Star, Visalia Times Delta, and the Fresno Bee. These are all trying to be coordinated with the advancing dates of the book signing events.

February 23, 2006	Last weekend on Saturday February 18, the book signing took place at Cole's Books and Bagels. This was the first book signing and the owner, Linda Cole, was very happy with the sales. So, by all accounts it was a very successful day. It seems many publishers' printing times are backed up several months. The good news is that the book is IN PRINT, so, events are being scheduled. Prospective events are for Book Barn and B.DALTON books, both in Clovis. CA. Also, being planned are events for Visalia, Modesto, Sonora, and Firebaugh, California.
